Thursday's special is shrimp and grits and it was wonderful.

Brittany is an excellent hostess who helped me plan a delightful luncheon for my friend's birthday.Also, the staff was prompt and on top of it all.We had the Pecan Chicken Salad and the Quiche Lorraine both exceptional and homemade! Delicious! Compliments to the ones who had a part in making this.Although this was an accidental find our part, we have already determined to come back again. I'm anxious to try the Turkey melt sandwich. ?Thanks to all.

Last two times we went in the host was extremely rude to us. The second time we walked out because there is really no need for the attitude. Have always enjoyed the food there but won’t be back until someone else is seating people politely.

We hadn't had breakfast so we decided to try the garden cafe for an early lunch when we visited the botanical gardens. Boy, am I glad we did. There were already plenty of tables in use when we sat down at 11::30. The cafe space is incredibly handsome, with soaring ceilings, and huge windows looking out on the adjacent patio. There were a couple of private parties being held that morning, so the people watching was fun while their guests arrived. I started my lunch with an order of lobster bisque. Constant companion was a happy camper with the arrival of the warm bread, and declared it some of the best bread ever. My sandwich was a grilled vegetable sandwich on a house-made roll. The flavors were wonderful. All in all, this place is a great value, as the lunch options are generally around $10. My soup was $5. The wait staff are great.
