La Paloma Mexican - Mount Vernon

If you're from Colorado, you know what Green Chile is Smothered Burrito. After searching for high and low to find it this page of the Mississippi; I found it here and not disappointed! It got kick as if you didn't believe, is smeared to perfection, and the taste of paprika is delightful. Finished with a delicious Donkey's Ear and was very satisfied (and maybe a little too full). All this with a side of amazing service and real smile! I'll be right back when I swing through town. Thanks for the great lunch experience!

La Paloma has a very welcoming atmosphere and an attractive location in the city centre. I tried the beef, beans and cheese sopapilla and was definitely impressed by the presentation, taste and textures! I was surprised by the exceptionally small amount of queso that was provided in the large portion that was barely enough to drop the tip of my entree, but the taste was delicious.

A beautiful casual atmosphere. The food was delicious. the owners moved here a few years ago from Colorado and opened this Restraunt. Probably the most authentic Mexican food I had. The Enchilada sauce was tasteful and I got the spicy. I found it right in the heat / flame department.

Amazing Enchiladas, especially given the very reasonable price. Cheesecake Sophias are spectacular.

Definitely a positive experience. Glad to have a pleasant place to dine that isn't a franchise. Super great employees.
