Comfort Inn Suites - Mount Pocono

This hotel left me feeling disappointed with my experience at Choice Hotels. The parking lot is dimly lit and gives off a creepy vibe, making it feel unsafe. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly. However, the clientele at this hotel raised some concerns; they were rowdy and loud. The door lock to my room was faulty, and while the room itself was reasonably clean, the shower was extremely slippery, so be cautious to avoid falls. Additionally, there was a strange musty odor in the room, and the beds were outdated and uncomfortable. The pillows were also flat and hard. Overall, I likely won't be returning to this hotel.

The price was reasonable, and the location was perfect for the event I was attending, just a 2-minute drive away. However, the room could use some repairs—there was a hole in the wall where the door jams were missing, the paint was peeling, and it lacked modern amenities such as a telephone, USB charging ports, or standard outlets on the nightstand for charging electronic devices. On a positive note, breakfast was quite good! I enjoyed my stay, but the amenities need to be updated. As for nearby activities, there's a shopping strip right across the street. Overall, breakfast was excellent!

The hotel was clean, and the room was tidy. The staff was friendly, especially the Assistant General Manager, Tameesha. She was very kind and understanding of my situation, offering assistance throughout our stay. I noticed her actively engaging with guests, who seemed to appreciate her, and the staff spoke highly of her, indicating that they enjoy having her as their manager. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is conveniently located near various activities.

Didn't get room had reserved. Pool and hot tub not available. Sidewalk all torn up. However new manager says trying to improve. Breakfast best ever at a choice hotel.Nearby activities: In Poconos close to museums, restaurants, activitiesFood drinks: Excellent hot breakfast. Great variety.

We had a great experience with this property. The room was over sized and very comfortable. The front desk staff was excellent. We were checked in by a gentleman named Tai who went out of his way to accommodate a special request and made sure to follow up. Just a good person doing his jobs very well.We travel alot as a family for youth sports and have had good experiences with Choice hotels in the past. This was one of the best.
