Topsail Restaurant Bar - Mount Pleasant

I found it curious that there wasn't much buzz about this restaurant among food enthusiasts on social media, but after my first visit, I understood why. It didn't leave a lasting impression nor did it disappoint; it was just average. I appreciate non-traditional bars, so I liked their square-shaped design. The bartender was very skilled and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed the Happy Hour menu with half off all Featured Cocktails. The atmosphere had a cozy, local vibe. The food, however, was mediocre at best.

Food was good, just overpriced for what you get. Server was nice. Got diet coke, it was kinda flat. If your looking for uppity you might like it more. For someone like me just looking for some good seafood, don't expect to walk away full ????

It's easy to overlook Topsail due to its location, but don't make that mistake. Make a reservation and discover why I am grinning like Mr. Ritchie from American Idol. Our daughter in Missouri booked us a table, and we enjoyed delicious salmon and tuna in a beautiful setting near Coleman Boulevard. I can't say enough about the attentive waiter Joel, the perfectly paired tuna with pineapple glaze, and the tasty sides of Brussels sprouts and pepper corn grits. I was too busy enjoying my meal to fully appreciate the salmon, but overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Ask for Joe! He?s the greatest for a good laugh and solid service. Food was excellent, the mussels were hoooge and swimming in a velvety butter garlic sauce that also pairs well with fried oysters! Blackened tuna was a nice serving, slightly underwhelming flavor profile but the pineapple salsa a nice citrus touch. When I visited, my daughter brought me to this restaurant and it left a great impression on me! The Lobster Deviled eggs were delicious! The people, drinks, and staff were fantastic- I can't wait to come back on my next visit!
