Tgi Fridays - Mount Pleasant

The restaurant has an atmosphere of dark and dreary. In Charleston the sun is put and warm spring weather. While eating I was regretting the decision of venue. We waited for a hostess to seat us. After waiting 10 minutes of not being greeted we joined the bar tender. She was very helpful. Clearly pulling double duty for the people that weren't working. The food was a bit long of a wait and the pasta slightly dried out from waiting under heat lamps. While waiting, we were looking at the dust that had gathered under the computer, on the wooden propeller, and the rust on the registers. In all honesty, it looks like this place is bleeding money. In full business sense it probably makes more sense to strike the name and completely remodel and restart or just close and sell the property.

Service was very slow and they weren't busy at all. Waitress was missing in action after we finally received our food. Food was ok nothing to make me want to return.

It closed at 8 pm. This new update it was opened today. It is the worst tgif I have been to. It was almost empty. The only people were in the bar area. The host sat us down. The waiter immediately came to us. I excused myself and went to the restroom. Before I can sit down the waiter is asking me what I want. I explained that I didn't look at the menu. First, this is a new menu. Second I felt rushed. I asked if he could give us a minute. He came back in a minute. We rushed to order drinks. We rushed to order apps. He came and rushed us to order an entree. I asked him to get a pad to write down my entree. Medium steak with corn and loaded potatoes. Everything was wrong the steak was well I got two mashed one with cheese and the other nothing I asked about my corn. He apologized and when I cut my steak I was just over it. By this time it was another couple being helped by another person. When the waiter came back he didn't ask if we wanted more drinks not once. I complained about my food. It was like the whole time we were an inconvenience to him. Waited for corn.

THANK YOU SAVANNAHSo, while I gave this restaurant a one star I want to make it very clear that my review has nothing to do with my fantastic server Savannah! she was very efficient, professional, and an all-around good time, All things I should expect from a TGI Fridays restaurant. unfortunately this is my third time at this location and I have to say I will not be returning if you want to wait an hour for chicken fingers on a day where the restaurant is empty be my guest, but with long ticket times bad ,bad staff attitude, and a depressing atmosphere. I will not be returning. I gave this restaurant three tries!!! again, my server was amazing and she deserves a raise for having to put up with a restaurant like this

A great place to meet and enjoy fellowship with many drink selections. Jeremy provided great service and information on both drink and food specials.
