Sonic Drive-in - Mount Pleasant

I understand that they may be busy, but waiting 30 minutes for two shakes is unacceptable. I was in the drive-thru line and at least three cars behind me received their food before I did. This place has terrible service.

I get that they are busy after having the Christmas parade and all but I have called about 6 times now because I get home and realize that I received my hot dog with NO…. HOT DOG!!!!! But there is no reason at all that I should be missing the main thing to my meal!

Average food quality. Needs to have hot, fresh food during hours that are not always the usual time. I don't mind waiting a few minutes for super fresh hamburgers and other foods.

I only ate at this restaurant because I was too hungry to go somewhere else. I ordered 2 Sonic cheeseburgers, 2 medium fries, and 2 milkshakes at the drive-thru. The fries were very cold, so I drove back around and asked for fresh ones. My son suggested I should have asked for them to be made fresh. The staff brought me back 2 new medium fries and asked if they were better, then waited for me to try them. I didn't want to embarrass my son, so I told them they were warmer but still not warm. I didn't want to risk anyone tampering with my food by asking for them to be made fresh, so I gave one to my son and went home to eat the cheeseburgers. The burgers were not messy because I had asked for no mayo, but there was a thin slice of tomato, 6 small pieces of lettuce, and about 10 pieces of shredded lettuce, along with the cheese and burger patty. Surprisingly, the burger was slightly warmer than the fries! I'm not sure what was happening, but the evening crew should be aware that customers notice the temperature of their food, especially on a warmer evening. This all occurred on Monday, May 9th at 6:30 pm.

We waited for 40 minutes just to order a drink at this restaurant! They never brought it to us, so we eventually left without it.
