Miss K's Homemade Delectables Con Amor Cupcakery

I've dined at this restaurant six times, and each time I've found the food to be completely bland—lacking any real flavor. I won't even start on the hash browns; I ordered them extra crispy, but it seems they just pan-fry them. They often come out undercooked and slimy, which is disappointing for what I paid. This is the only breakfast spot in town, and I’m shocked that they are still in business. When I called to mention that they still weren’t crispy for the third time, they simply responded that I got what I got, even suggesting they could burn them if that’s what I wanted. I would much prefer my food to be properly cooked and flavorful. It seems they don’t care about customer concerns and are often rude when we ask for adjustments. I’ve tried multiple items from their menu, ordering several times before writing this review, and I’ve consistently left feeling disappointed. If anyone is considering opening a breakfast joint in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, I would do it now because there’s a clear lack of competition. The selection is fantastic, from breakfast to lunch there's something for everyone! The chicken bacon ranch mac and cheese is delicious, and the mess dish is a must-try! I absolutely recommend K's for breakfast, brunch, or lunch—it's the best!
