Little Miss Ha - Mount Pleasant

My wife and I had a great experience at Little Miss Ha's restaurant. The Pho Ga was packed with flavor! We tried a few other dishes too, and the spring rolls were delicious (though we didn’t get a picture of them). I definitely recommend checking out Little Miss Ha's, as I've been a fan of their food since their days as a pop-up at the old Charleston Workshop location.

I ordered a bowl of pho at Little Miss Ha, anticipating the usual flavors, but I was quite disappointed with what I received. The broth was an unusually dark color that I’ve never encountered in pho before, and it was lacking in taste as well. I also tried the spring rolls, but they were wrapped in rice paper that had been soaked for too long, resulting in a mushy texture that barely held together. Overall, the quality of the food was far below the ambiance of the restaurant. By the time I left, I got the impression that Little Miss Ha is primarily a bar serving drinks, with a side of vaguely Vietnamese cuisine. If I had known this, I would have chosen a different place to eat.

I was really looking forward to my first visit to Miss Ha. The ambiance is fantastic, and the waitress was extremely friendly. However, we found the food a bit bland—it felt like it was lacking some spice and flavor, which was disappointing given how appetizing it looked! Once we added some sauces for flavor and heat, the food improved. That said, the prices are quite high for the quality of the food. We tried the egg rolls, buns, fried rice, and sesame chicken. I'm glad we gave it a shot!

I had a fantastic experience! The staff were very friendly, and I’m definitely planning to return to try something different next time. I ordered the Yellow Curry, which was delicious.

The drinks were fantastic for the price—both strong and delicious. We tried the Pink Drank and the Saigon 75, and they were great. And the food! I can’t recommend the Mom's Fried Rice (with tofu), Bao Buns, or Banh Mi highly enough. Everything was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. I'm already eager to return and sample everything else on the menu. While everything was excellent, our server truly made the night memorable. When he found out it was my birthday dinner, he kindly comped my drink and brought out a complimentary piece of DELICIOUS almond cake. I’m terrible with names, but he went to Hanahan High School and lives in West Ashley! So, to the management, if you’re reading this, please extend our heartfelt thanks to that wonderful server. He was the highlight of our evening!
