Golden Bowl - Mount Pleasant

After reading online reviews claiming this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Charleston area, I completely agree! The Curry Chicken was seasoned to perfection, and the seafood platter was overflowing with fresh seafood. My daughter declared the Sesame Chicken the best she’s ever tasted, while my husband couldn’t get enough of the shrimp in lobster sauce. All of the appetizers, including the PuPuter and egg rolls, were incredibly fresh. The quality of the ingredients is truly impressive. We’ve found our new favorite spot for special occasions! Don’t hesitate to try it—so delicious!

On the basis of 90% of the authorisation, it was not disappointed. I'm really picky when it comes to good Chinese food. Usually I don't like food coming from this style of a counter-restaurant, but this time it was great! A bit out of the way, but worth the drive for the exit.

The review begins on a negative note, but I encourage you to keep reading because we were ultimately very pleased with both the service and the food! When we first arrived, they couldn't find our order (it's better to call in rather than use online ordering). When we got home, we realized something was missing from our order. However, a staff member from the restaurant called us, removed the missing item from our bill, and even offered to personally deliver it to us due to their error. Their customer service was exceptional! Plus, the food was delicious. We truly appreciate their effort to go above and beyond, and everything we tried was fantastic! We've already returned for more!
