Cachita’s Kitchen - Mount Pleasant

Never heard of cachitacos before today and wow apparently I had been living a shell of a life before today. This place is a rare gem of the authentic level of Mexican food you would expect closer to the Mexican border. Also it was quick. First thing I'm doing when I'm back in town is eating here.

Great tacos. And fresh watermelon juice and horchata

One of the best burritos I?ve ever had. Reminds me of the amazing ones I?ve had in San Diego. So flavorful. Get the carnitas, you won?t regret it. This place has ruined us, we can?t go anywhere else for Mexican food. Yum!

Fish and shrimp tacos were excellent! Veggie taco was ok, otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars, although we definitely appreciate the vegetarian options on the menu. We will definitely go back again!

Amazing food. Very authentic and great prices. This place is a sight for sore eyes. They know what they?re doing and they?re always so nice. Being born and raised in California, and having spent years in Texas, it can be tough to find a Mexican place that measures up. The Mulitas are great if you want tacos but also want lots of cheese. Very filling.
