Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries

I ordered our food. Waited for over 25 minutes while everyone who came after us was eating her. When we finally got ours, it was cold, which means it was sitting there and our waitress just didn't pick it up. We went to Hardees and had hot food.

This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. The burgers and cheesesteak were tasty. However, the fries served initially were cool and soft, almost soggy. When we requested replacements, they arrived hot, but they seemed undercooked. We ended up waiting at the counter for 15 minutes with our payment before they finally took it. We had hoped to sit next to Hardee's, but overall, it wasn't the best first impression.

This restaurant is incredibly disappointing! It's a shame that the corporate office has allowed this Hwy 55 to operate in their hometown. Despite being a brand new building, it always seems dirty and unkempt. The staff, who are genuinely lovely and seem to work well together, unfortunately struggle to complete their tasks effectively. The service is painfully slow, and my order is almost always incorrect. As for the food, it rarely tastes good—it's often either dry, cold, or both. The only constant here is failure. I really dislike spending my money at this establishment; it’s such a letdown. I didn’t want to leave such a negative review, but I hope the company takes notice and makes improvements. I've reached out to them before, but nothing changed. I’ll update this review if they enhance their service.

Slow service. My milkshake was half full. Why do buffalo sauce have online as an option if you don't in-store it? The food was good.

We ordered our drinks and then waited for over 30 minutes without any check-ins from the waitress. Meanwhile, new guests arrived and were served promptly. We never received our food, and when I inquired at the counter, I was told it had been given to someone else, likely for takeout. The staff member assured me that she would reinstate our order, but we decided to leave instead. The service was terrible, and the flagship restaurant was also quite dirty. This was truly an embarrassment for Mt. Olive.
