It is not located in the heart of ritzy beaufort st, but once in the dining options and friendly staff make for it. price and food presentation is great. also sufficient in portions and also take an option.
Visited here on a Friday evening with my mother and sister. as the title of the review suggests, we have remained disappointed. mainly because all other reviews suggest that this place is fantastic. we even saw a gold plate award issued in the restaurant, but from our experience, we really do not see why this restaurant is abhorrent. it seemed only three employees (two server and one chef) in the night we visited. Unfortunately, this meant a slow service for us and a wrong order brought to our table, which led to a longer wait for the correct order. what was really the kicker, though is that the portion sizes were not worth for money. my mother paid around $22 for a suppenschale curry and a small redi. I ordered the sayur lodeh and felt that if I had been really hungry in this night, I would not have been full of my portion size. eating itself was not bad, but nothing to rave. I don't know if this is just a case of a normally good restaurant with a night. it is a real shame, because I feel that many of the problems we experienced tonight would not have happened if monggo had been adequately busy with an evening meal on Friday night. Finally, I personally don't feel like eating was worth waiting, so if I don't see any reviews that my trust in this restaurant restore, I won't come back soon. 1.5 out of 4 stars. points for food that gives at least some pale and the ambiente of the restaurant. Excepted points for slow service, incorrect ordering and portion sizes not worth the price. updated by previous review on 2018-12-14
Monggo restaurant, one of the best for the central Asian cuisine, has changed its view and the interieur renovated, all its speciality, ambiente and friendliness with its customers. it is the most convenient restaurant for meals. its main and special dishes such as Chinese and Asian dishes, vegetarian curry and noodles have not lost its zing, aroma or excuisitness. the staff is efficient and inexpensive. recommended for family dinner. I loved eating. adequately good dining place for families and friends. good for Asian food together with other choice food availability. the prices are reasonable. eating is from this world when they like asian. eating is high in proteins and also has authentic taste. must pay a visit.
I have to the restaurant with my clients and it is one of the best in town. It's an Asian restaurant and the food they serve us, always very tasty, the ambiance is good and very friendly staff. It is centrally located and they have a huge parking lot. This is probably the bestest Chinese/Asian restaurant in town. Very good food and if you like they have a Chinese menu as well that serves some of the food in traditional Chinese style. Their special soup and Noodles are the best pick on their menu. I am a veteran visitor of this restaurant. Love their Chinese cuisine. Service is great too. Prices are reasonable. A nice place to dine in. Do give it a try.
