Przekaż informację zwrotnąI took my partner and 2 boys here for dinner. We ordered the premium pork ribs $57 for the boys (apparently serve for 2) the serving size was defenatally not enough for two and the very small sides of chips and salad were not a double serve. The ribs they enjoyed but 10 pork ribs is by far not a double serve. My partner and I had the seafood platter for two $55 and I was quite disgusted to get a plastic bag dumped on the table then shaken up and served as was in a bag which looked to us as if it had been microwaved and sent out. The portion was small also. The decor is cheap fish and chip style restaurant which with the price of the dishes not fitting at all. This is one restaurant I would not visit again.
Had a pre theatre meal here last night, nice welcome, nice, pleasant, efficient staff, good novelty value, with plastic bibs and gloves, it's gonna get messy, the soft shell crab sliders were very tasty, yabbys served in a plastic bag,( ok, more novelty value) but brought to the table in a bowl, and then taken out of the bowl and placed on the table, juice and oil all over the table, had one napkin, but when asked for wet wipes or something similar, was told there's a wash basin around the corner, customers should only have to leave the table if they wish to, finger bowls? Yabbys did taste good, and the massive pork rack, maybe 2 kg were very tasty, just a bit of refinement needed here.
My co-worker and I decided to have a dinner out once. On a Tuesday evening, we decided to head to Grab a Yabbie for dinner. We were welcome by a friendly staff who asked us to pick a table as the restaurant was literary empty. After a while it was filled with another 2 tables. First we ordered our drinks, my co-worker have gin and tonic and I have a traffic light cocktail. Right before our food arrived, we were given gloves, bib and a small wooden hammer. It was very gimmicky. We ordered a soft shell crab slider, crunchy wings and also a fisherman basket. The soft shell crab slider was very tasty. The sauce in the slider just made the slider tasted better. The crunchy wings was tasty but it’s a bit on the salty side. The highlight was the fisherman basket with the seafood.Would I come back for more? Maybe. The down side, I don’t like the idea of peeling the seafood myself. I prefer it to be pre peeled! But it’s worth a try.
Well we got a chance to trial this new restaurant and were q little perplexed We went for lunch on a Thursday, not busy but no Yabby's.. They d run out the night before and the order hadn't arrived.. so we chose some other meals like grilled prawnsNow these come with a variety of sauces, you choose, in a plastic bag with disposable gloves to protect your hands A huge bib completes the focus..very messy eat and and hand bowls to wash hands The prawns were ovrecooked I had the soft-shelled crab slider which was nice .Worth a try again but there is some learning to be done to make it top notch
