Cameron Estate Inn - Mount Joy

Our wedding day was July 1, 2017. We looked at a bunch of venues in the Lancaster area but ultimately decided to go with the Cameron Estate Inn for multiple reasons. We loved the fact that they had a great outdoor and indoor space that could be used for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It made our lives so easy knowing that they would take care of all the food and alcohol services and that we wouldn't have to add that on top of everything else that goes into a wedding. Our wedding ended up having to be inside because of a thunderstorm but the indoor ceremony space is absolutely beautiful so we were not too upset. Everyone who came to our wedding kept saying how beautiful the venue was and how great everything turned out. The staff was great to work with and the food was amazing!! We also have to give a big shout out to Dakota who made our day and dreams all come true. She was so great about answering all of our questions and meeting all of our accommodations. She also met with us multiple times and allowed us to see what other couples were doing on their day, which was so helpful! The day went so smoothly and Dakota went above and beyond our expectations to make our day run flawless. We would recommend the Cameron Estate Inn to any couple looking for a fairy tale wedding .

Dakota walked us through every step of the planning, worked within our budget, offered great ideas, and answered our questions promptly and professionally; Emily ran the reception with such grace and poise. The staff was helpful at every turn. Pictures on the grounds are beautiful. Having the ceremony in a separate location from the reception is makes the ceremony special and allowed us to set up our decorations in the reception area in advance. Guests raved about the location and food. We held the rehearsal dinner at the Inn the night before, which was also delicious and well run. As a bonus, the vendors we used from their recommended list were top-notch. I highly recommend Cameron Estate Inn!

We had our wedding here and absolutely loved it! Despite a very minor hiccup in the morning when my girls were supposed to be getting ready, the day was beyond perfect! Dakota, Emily and the rest of the staff were a joy to work with and more than made up for what happened, which I believe was a simple miscommunication! Our guests are still raving about the food and the grounds, especially our friends and family who had the vegetarian dish! My sister In law said it was the BEST vegetarian option they ever had! And the inn itself! We spent the night there and were not disappointed! The room was so quaint and the breakfast was delicious! We can't wait to come back to celebrate our 1st anniversary! thanks so much to the staff at Cameron estate! You made our special day magical!

We attended my daughters wedding here this weekend and we were highly satisfied with our experience overall. Excellent food and wait staff. We highly recommend them for a wedding

Cameron estates is a bed and breakfast in lancaster pa. First off, it's in a mansion, which in itself is awesome. When you pull up, you feel like you just pulled into a small slice of paradise. There are woods, a nice stream, and the best part, no neighbors for a decent distance, so other than other guests and a member or two of staff, your in a nice secluded space where you or you and you're significant other can just spend time and relax. I went in november, which is there slow season as not to many people are taking trips anymore, and my new wife and I had the whole mansion to ourselves. We stayed in the lincoln room, which is located behind a bookcase, so it had z very James Bondish feeling. This point alone made the whole trip so much fun. Because really, what guy doesn't want to be in a mansion sleeping in a room behind a bookcase. But back on topic. So when we first walked in, I felt slightly out of place, because it's ridiculously nice. The art work is beautiful and plentiful, the common rooms were spacious and comfortable for just relaxing and talking while not feeling like your right in someone else's business. Now back to our room. We had an add on package, so when we walked in, there was champagne chilling in an ice bath, a dozen roses, which when I ordered was only supposed to be a half dozen, chocolates, awesome little Cameron estate hand crafted mugs for coffee or tea, a very nice bed (king sized) and all of the amenities people get used to at home (i.e. a nice sized tv). The bathroom was huge, and the jacuzzi was plenty big enough for my wife and I to relax in together. Again, nice artwork on the walls, plenty of seating, and just all around beautiful. Now, for me it's all about food. Anywhere I go, I try to sample the best food the area has to offer. Luckily, there is a five star restaurant that is part of the estate. And the food. Ohhhh my the food. The rest of the place could have been a roach motel (and is assure you, it wasnt) and the food would jave still gotten the estate a decent review. We started of with muscles in yellow saffron sauce. Now normally normally I hate muscles, but my wife loves them so I bent for her. And after eating the first one I was so glad I did. They were ridiculously delicious. For our entrée she had a Cornish game hen served with smashed potatoes and I don't remember her veggie. She loved it. I had a filet also served with smashed potatoes, and broccoli. I ordered my filet medium rare, and it was spot on. The flavor was the exact reason why a chef says if it's cooked right you don't need sauce. A1 would have ruined it. It was phenomenal. The potatoes. I'm not even sure how it's possible to make a potatoe so good. For bi had only made breakfast I had a quiche, also amazing. I never wake up to eat breakfast, but while ih was there ih refused to miss it. Also, reservation for one night at the estate, but but we had such a good time, that we added more days. All and all I'd say if you have a little extra cash and need something to do to get away for a bit, check it out. Also guys, if your ladies are mad at you, spring a night or two here on her. Guaranteed to settle your differences fast.
