Brew & Scoop - Mount Isa

This place was getting reviews on Facebook for being amazing. I went looking for waffles. There was no one else in the store and I was told waffles would be 20min minimum . I thought ok. Then they asked me what ice cream I would like. There wasn't vanilla and I tried something that was apparently popular. Vanilla ice cream with a swirl of something. They gave me some of the vanilla out of it. It was awful, it was so sweet it was sickly it didn't task like ice cream. There was no fat in it at all. I said don't worry about the ice cream I'll just have waffles with a big heap of fresh cream. I was then told that they had no cream. I said ok don't worry about it then and left.

A nice little place to take the kids for treats, great variety of gelatos. Disappointed with the cheesecake I got from here, it was really hard and I didn't enjoy it.

Located conveniently near my accommodation and within a short walking distance, this quaint cafe recently opened its doors. Everything is fresh and new, with a great menu to choose from. Its prime location next to the bakery, pharmacy, and news agency makes it a perfect spot for me as I can find everything I need in one area.

This place is great. The staff are great, nothing is too hard and create a lovely ambience.It is a largely undiscovered gem. The desserts were yum and the coffee and range of tea addsa yummy dessert menu. Go there if your in town its great

Decided to try Brew and Scoop as it has been getting good reviews on Facebook. I liked that they have very large cups you can choose. The cake was yummy (humming bird) came with extra cream and syrup. Service was friendly. But did find coffee was on the bitter side. Small café and be mindful there is no public toilet near by.
