Grumpy Troll Pub Brewery - Mount Horeb

Fun spot with a good selection of craft beer. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu. Pay attention to the spices in the Creole Chicken Pasta dish.

We eat here regularly, and I’ve never had an experience that was anything less than awesome! Amazing beer, beer cheese soup that makes me want soup when I don’t like soup, great curds, good burger, even excellent pizza! What’s not to like?

We stopped in here after a day at the Cave of Mounds based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Service was fast and the food was excellent! Cheese curds and burgers for us and our three kids. Fun atmosphere and beer flight for us after a long day with the kids. Would definitely stop again!

The service was great, got our food fast, and was one of the best burgers we have ever had! It an hour and a half from our house but we will go back!

My favorite local watering hole. Like the variety of beers (though still waiting for a really good porter). Great atmosphere and good food. Love that it's 2 restaurants in one (pub downstairs pizzeria upstairs)
