We checked for somewhere to eat after travelling from Adelaide for the weekend.Sadly we chose the wrong place..We arrived at the Commercial Hotel and walked into the main dining area only to find it was a free for all.We should have walked out then and there but had just met up with friends from Melbourne.The dining area is old and very tired looking. The floor area was dirty particularly around the self serve salad/hot vegetable bar.We placed our order and returned to our table before getting up again to order drinks. Our food arrived within a reasonable time. My order was a mixed grill. The chips were really good but as for the rest...The egg placed on top of the piece of steak (so tough) was raw, the sausages were tough that the knife struggled to cut through them. My wife's lamb shank was swimming in an oily thin sauce with lumpy mash potato.Would I recommend this pub - NoWould I eat there again - never!Overall a very disappointing experience.

Lovely range on the salad bar and hot food bar. Fresh and tasty. Huge amount of meal choices on the menu as well as specials. Relaxed atmosphere, not rushed in and out of dining room. Families welcomed.

Felt like a good pub meal in the that atmosphere and the Comersh lived up to our expectation.Very good menu and prices perfect for that environment and the 4 of us all enjoyed our meals which were served in reasonable time.Range of draught beers good and a boutique beer on tap also.Wine list met our needs of reasonable price by the glass.We will revisit

Dining at this hotel is great. Daily special board available with seniors discount available. Salad and vegetable available for lunch and dinner time. Excellent, friendly staff who aim to please. Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or families wanting a reasonably priced meal.
