Spiros Fish & Chips - Mount Evelyn

We get our take away from there around twice a month and couldn't be happier. Yesterday we got onion rings which are really nice - actual slices of thick onion, some places don't do them like that. The burgers are always nice and fresh and great taste and the potato cakes are nice random sizes and nice and crispy. Great place.

Look nothing special good fish and chips but the wait on a Friday night was 35 minutes. Lady at the counter was nice she was flustered trying to appease customers who where getting angry about the long long delay in getting there dinner. Need to have /get a better system in place before we try it again. After all there are a lot of fish and chip shops around and if you want to be number one ,you have to do /show something special, and we just didn't find that.

Great traditional fish and chips who also do really good souvlakis and lamb and chicken gyros dinner packs. The gyros is always tasty and the chips and salad are too. They have south melbourne market dim sims which are so hard to find locally!

Value for money Souvlaki, the lamb one is fantastic, lots of lettuce, meat, tomato. Its a meal and more

Ate here whilst on holiday. Great food, not too oily and reasonably priced. Average wait time - about 15 minutes - but well worth it.
