Octopus' Beer Garden - Mount Clemens

I visited this restaurant for the first time and wanted to share my experience. Be prepared that your sandwich will come on its own, without any extras. If you ask for pickles, be aware they'll charge you for everything. I ordered a cheeseburger and requested Swiss cheese, but they added an extra $1.00 for the cheese on a cheeseburger. The place has a fun Beatles theme and plays their music, which was a nice touch. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with a great burger, but the additional charges left me feeling a bit frustrated.

I enjoyed great food in a delightful atmosphere. It was a quick boat ride from downtown, and docking was easy. I will definitely return. I would have given it five stars, but I ordered the fried perch, and while the flavor was excellent, there were a few more bones than I expected. However, the cheese curds, burgers, and kids' meals were all perfectly sized and flavorful.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at this place. The background music was great, and the peaceful riverfront setting made it even better. We arrived by boat, and it was a delightful trip up the Clinton River from Lake St. Clair. We spotted over 50 turtles along the way! Once there, we enjoyed a few drinks and shared an appetizer of their new burnt ends served on garlic bread. It was hearty and packed with meat—no fatty bits at all. I tried the Sexy Sadie, which had a spicy kick thanks to the Thai chili pepper. I even took another one to go for the boat ride back!

A friend recommended this place for our weekly girls lunch and it was the best! Our server was the sweetest. I wish I remembered her name but I know she mentioned she was hard of hearing. She was very good at letting us know all of the best items and told us Everything is homemade down to the ketchup! This place has an amazing atmosphere and staff is so kind. Our server mentioned she was on her second day and the staff was so quick to help her and answer questions for her and
