West Pine Kitchen - Mount Airy

I hadn't eaten at this restaurant since it was a Sonic in the 80s. Our food was delicious and hot, customized just the way we wanted. I will definitely be returning. We ended up spending less than we would have at McDonald's. They have gained a new fan.

Chuckwagon is amazing! The wings are delicious, hot, and crispy! The prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants. I'm eager to return, maybe next week?

Don't let the slightly shabby exterior fool you. The food was excellent! staff friendly! service quick! And prices and portion size was stellar.The fries are always hot, fresh and better than the big M. Big E Burger was excellent and very reasonably priced. Ribeye sandwich was hearty, fresh, and totally legit! No nasty steakums here. Overall 5 stars, the only critique I would pass along is that the upkeep is a bit lacking on the facility overall, and some minor facelifts would do the place wonders. No major changes as the old school drive in is appealing in a nostalgic way. Just needs a simple sprucing up. Will be back and would def recommend.
