Walker's Soda Fountain - Mount Airy

This place looks like it is from the set of The Andy Griffith show. It is a nice retro diner. The hot dogs were decent and a friend had the Barbecue. None of it was special really, but the Trump signs everywhere made us feel like we didn't belong.

Was a very friendly place to stop and eat. The waitress was very friendly even sat at the table and took our order the owner even came out and visited with us. It was an amazing place to eat and chill for a bit.Food: 5/5

The staff at this restaurant are wonderful, providing excellent service in a unique atmosphere. They offer some fantastic craft sodas, and I highly recommend the cherry vanilla flavor—it's simply the best! This is definitely a charming little local gem. Service: 5/5.

It was just an average experience. The waitress appeared disinterested in taking care of us, making us feel like we were bothering her. Checking out at the register took quite a while, even though there was no line. There were piles of dirty dishes stacked on the counter. The decor was nothing special. However, the ice cream was quite good. Food rating: 3/5.

We had a lovely dining experience during our visit to Mount Airy. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I made a lighthearted joke to my wife while we were waiting for our meal, saying that Emma Brand had just come in with her dime to buy her pills—if you know, you know! Overall, I would give the food a solid 5 out of 5.
