The Grille At Challedon - Mount Airy

We've been dining at Challedon Grille for several years, even hosting our son's rehearsal dinner there! The service has always been outstanding, and we truly appreciate Linda and her team for providing memorable experiences. Last Friday night, the entire waitstaff consisted of young men, and we were eager to see how well they cooperated as a team. One server, Robbie, really stood out with his genuine care for his work; he was exceptionally friendly and engaging. Challedon Grille never ceases to impress us. While we'll miss dining on the terrace once the colder weather arrives, we're looking forward to enjoying many more delicious meals, whether inside or outside!

Last Friday night, the entire waitstaff consisted of young men, and we were curious to see how well they worked together. One staff member, Robbie, stood out for his attentiveness to his job and his friendly, personable demeanor. Challedon Grille consistently impresses us. While we will be sad to lose the opportunity to sit on the terrace once the cold weather arrives, we eagerly anticipate many more delightful meals, whether indoors or outdoors!

On December 17th at 6:00 PM, we were in search of a nice dinner since we live in the neighborhood. The restaurant was experiencing issues with their online orders, but the staff was very apologetic and adjusted our order accordingly. They managed the situation exceptionally well. The food was definitely worth the wait. Great job!

13 friends and I spent the last Saturday here, 4 1/2 hours on the course, which was in beautiful condition, even after 2 very rainy days and then we had lunch. The burgers, BBQ and crab cakes were a big hit, like all beef hot dogs and a very special huge sausage (spicky, but tasty). 2 guys even took home crabs cake plates for dinner this evening as I did in the past. The best thing about the course was the conditions of the green; fast, but super smooth and fair. The staff was also very friendly.

Grabbed lunch at the Grille this week! So glad I did. Had Orange Smash's (by Devil's Backbone) which were so fun! They have all the flavors! The chips salsa were so fresh flavorful, smoked pork wrap with avocado was delicious they served the best ranch dressing! (you know, if you know) Kudos to Chef John the team. Will be back to check out their other offerings.
