Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Mounds View

I had the most unpleasant experience at this drive-thru. The employee I encountered was incredibly rude. They refused to accept my coupon or adjust my order's price at the window and even argued with me about whether I mentioned the coupon while placing my order (which I definitely did). To make matters worse, the employee had the audacity to say, "I'm not your bro." When I asked what the blackened ranch was, they replied, "I don't know, I don't eat it." The customer service was dreadful. I really hope this isn't the standard for Popeyes employees. I wish I had a better experience.

I would rate it lower if I could. I've been to this restaurant three times before closing time (before 9:50 PM), and each time they claimed to be closed. Why do you close early? You mention running out of chicken, so why are you throwing it away ahead of schedule? I have worked in fast food before, and we always try to minimize waste—so why are you discarding food and shutting down early? It's confusing when your hours are so inconsistent, especially since you state that you close at 11. I won’t be returning to this location again.

I visited the restaurant with my family, and the place was spotless. The service was excellent. The chicken was incredibly tasty. I would definitely return!

On Sunday, October 8, at 6:40 PM, I visited the Mounds View location. I noticed that the staff preparing food weren't wearing gloves, so I requested that they do so. Galversio then responded by saying that he is Mexican and that Mexicans don’t help Black people, instructing me to leave his store. I reported this incident to the Mounds View police, who were familiar with him by name and informed me that they had been called regarding his racist behavior multiple times without any action taken. Overall, I would rate the food: 1, service: 1, and atmosphere: 1.
