I had the only meal option 100% vegan, which is the rice with kofta balls in tomato sauce. It was good and cheap (only 5 NZD). I was happy about the food. I love Hare Krishna places, people are always lovely and friendly... however, this time the girl who served us was very unfriendly. I am sorry about that, probably I was unlucky.
I have feared the fullness of western meat-hee livelihoods that would meet the menus of caffes and restaurants that I would meet on my trip to the north. Unfortunately, many small town-estates press confusion and desision when they inquire about vegan options. but my saving gnade came when I read “vegan and vegetarian food” on arcadias sign, and immediately knew that I fed and happy in this night. I wasn't disappointed! we have huge tellers of delicious curries, salads and rice, besides hearty samosas and early rolls for a large sum of what they would pay for two delicious steak and chip plates and some beer in a pub. so very cheap and wonderful worth! if I only lived closer to motueka, I would get the chance to return here. many thanks to youngs for providing such amazing food for those of us who decide to be included by animal product consumption
Krishna vegetarian with easy vegan options. There aren't a lot of options but the food is a great price.
There wasn't much left when we went there and the staff wasn't really helpful guiding us through the options. We ended up buying some samosas and some sort of pakoras which were very oily and gave us a sore stomach. I wouldn't go back I think
