Casale Romano - Motta camastra

This is authentic Sicilian cuisine. Traditional dishes, locally sourced (being an agriturismo, much of the food is home grown and beautifully cooked. We ate here 3 times during our stay- I think in the beginning we were asked if there was anything we didn't eat, but otherwise there was no menu, you got what you were given- starter, pasta, main, dessert- which was lovely. There was an amazing homely feel to it all with the warm and friendly service from the charming owners (it is in their house after all! , and it isn't often you have chef coming round with the pan offering seconds! Loved it.

The italian/german hosts will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. great breakfast, and very nice homecooked evening menus, good wine and nice rooms that are clean.
