Dalziel Park Golf Club - Motherwell

Booked in for dinner to celebrate our youngest daughters graduation. Staff were excellent despite us arriving late due to traffic. Our meal was delicious youngest daughter loved her sirloin steak, while eldest has declared she would come every day if she could just to eat the onion gravy she had with her chicken!

Went for Father's Day meal. Was extremely busy as there was 2 events and fully booked restaurant. Waited a long time for drinks and food and took over 3 hours. Food was good just the service let it down.

This is our local for food and drink but the menu hasn’t changed for so long we have decided it will be a while before we return. No specials offered, not even advised of what the soup was!! My meal was fine but hard to go wrong with fish n chips in my books. My husband said his was bland. Took ages to be served and we were in at 6 pm when it was empty. At 7.30 decided to leave as no one had come to offer desert or even another drink. First time ever we have left without leaving a tip !! Thought there was a new head chef but nothing has changed

Took some family and friends for afternoon tea on 16th June 2023. A most enjoyable time. The food was well presented and tasty and it was no problem for staff to arrange a change to the set tea menu. Service was friendly and efficient. I will certainly be back.

Usually great but a few issues this time round. Firstly, I'd say the staff are great; attentive given the amount of tasks they're trying to undertake at the same time as serving customers but... I booked via resdiary for 7pm. At 1755, I received an email saying my booking had been changed to 1830. No explanation why, fortunately, I didn't have other plans but changing a booking with this little notice really isn't on. Especially given upon arrival, no one knew why it had been changed. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and ordered starters followed by 2 steaks. One cooked well done, one , medium to well. The well done steak arrived and was cooked medium at best and had to be sent back. My medium steak was well-done, although to be fair, I didn't complain as we'd already sent one back. When you're paying a £12 supplement for a steak , you would think it should be cooked the way you've asked for it . We then ordered 2 x Eton mess deserts and received what I think was 2 Strawberry Sundaes. I put this down to an error on behalf of the server and again, I didn't complain. I didn't want to be one of those people that complained about every part of their meal, but I was probably justified if I had done so. To be fair, the staff acted quickly to rectify the undercooked steak but we couldn't help but feel underwhelmed when we left spending nearly £100 for our Sunday dinner given the issues we'd had. Usually DL park is our first port of call for a night out treat but this has made me think it's time to try somewhere else.
