La Giralda - Móstoles

We chose this restaurant for the purely sentimental reason that my childhood home was called La Giralda. WE were just adventuring, no tour, no plan and we were absolutely delighted! Could not stop talking about and remembering the meal. We sat outside in an alley lined with restaurants, full of locals enjoying lunchtime breaks. We ordered a host of tapas, and perhaps our favorite was the basket of fried seafood. So varied and fresh, and perfect portions. The quality of every single one of the tapas we tried was incredible. We ate to our hearts content and enjoyed a local beer, all for about $30 euros. The service was delightful and it's in a very walkable shopping district near the Buen Retiro Park. We drove in and found a centrally located underground parking lot. We set a Google finder to help us find out car after our day exploring this quarter of Madrid, which was really helpful since the lot is underground.

Entramos a tomar algo rápido y al lavabo. No sé qué tal la comida. Típico bar de barrio, con precios medios, clientela local mayormente masculina a media tarde, de cafés y cerveza en ese momento en que yo estuve, pero como restaurante lo desconozco. El camarero muy seriote. El emplazamiento está bien. Ganaría mucho la terraza con algunos maceteros con setos que le dieran algo de frescor a la vista, porque es amplia y está frente a un parque.

Worth the price and many snacks. homemade bark and homemade potatoes are spectacular. Don't hesitate to try!

Restaurante casero local. El cocinero lo hace vicio. es muy barato tenerlo como un sitio de referencia local donde desayunar o comer a cierta frecuencia. todo está limpio, servicio, baños y bar. No sé qué más se puede pedir, parece que algunos piden no reutilizar ninguna elaboración como si fuera un restaurante con guia michelin, es un lugar para disfrutar de la vida y los días.
