Winners of 2017 Pie Fest, Southern Rise Bakery in Moss Vale is worth a visit. The award-winning ‘Bernie’ pie from last year was no longer available during our visit, yet there are plenty of other options to choose from. Southern Rise Bakery has two outlets in Moss Vale (located back to back). The rear entrance is a pit stop for tradies and the main street entrance more a dine-in cafe. We enjoyed a Satay Chicken and a Bacon Cheese pie. The bacon cheese was the winner for us with a soft pastry and served at a perfect temperature. Lovely country bakery. Yummy cakes and great coffee. Definitely worth a visit.
