If they could serve alcohol, you might think you were in New Orleans! They do offer beer, though. It’s more of a convenience store with a kitchen run by a family that knows how to cook. Their po'boys and crawfish can compete with the well-known spots in the area. The crawfish boil is packed with so much sausage that you really won’t need to order extra. The seafood gumbo gets rave reviews with people asking, “Where did you get this?!” And at just $8 for a large, it’s a steal! It’s a takeout place that stays busy when open. Besides po'boys, they also offer various fried seafood and chicken dishes, seasonal specials, and boiled shrimp. Plus, you can find fresh and frozen seafood, some groceries, snacks, and all the Faygo drinks you could want!
My son ordered the fried turkey, and it was absolutely delicious!
Well, I went to this establishment because I was told they have good crab legs. Let's just say that was not my case. The legs were very flimsy and many of them had no meat, which of course is not their fault. Nor did I like the fact that they charge to cook them. My thought is if I'm buying them, at least they should cook them for free- just saying.
Don't go here my gf at gumbo here and had food poisoning for 3wks.
