Ordered a half albacore tuna sandwich. Unfortunately, the worst tuna sandwich I've ever had in my life. Basically I tasted the condiments and not the tuna at all. I took three bites and couldn't eat the rest. Canned Chicken of the Sea tuna was gourmet compared to this. I was shocked. I was taken aback because I love their snapper and calamari sandwiches! Never would have thought the quality would have been like this for the albacore tuna.

Great food reasonably priced. Staff is easy, friendly and fun. Interesting customers too.

This place has a monster Baja Burger. Absolutely awesome

Big fan of Phil 's Snack Shack (or typically I just call it Little Phil 's . Best prices and good food from a local lunch favorite. However since the fish market moved the Castroville some of the Snack Recipes have been switched up. I 'm definitely a regular and always order the egg salad, and lately it 's gone from a really good classic/simple egg salad to having a lot of extra stuff in it (red onions, celery, carrots, pieces of lettuce ??? etc... . I love veggies, but not in my egg salad. I don 't order the works specifically for this. If the price of eggs is an issue I 'll say something maybe a little controversial but I would rather pay an extra dollar for the old egg salad recipe they were using a 1.5 years ago than pay the same price for the current. I will openly admit this is a very I 'm a regular blah blah blah kind of thing to ask, but could be we get the old egg salad recipe back on the menu <3?
