I recommend coming here as the sun is able to enjoy the beautiful sea view. Obviously, ask for a table on the window if possible. The selection of dinner menus is always good and I was happy with all the ducks I had here. They offer classic American cuisine that always some types of seafood naturally. I remember the food rolls on the hard side. The desserts are excellent. There's a ghost story connected to the place that's kind of cheesy. It makes me so freaked out that I don't like going to the bathroom at night. The outdoor seating area with the fire places is beautiful.
Great location, great food... and of course forget You're not the spirit!
Happened onto this great historical place for lunch. Clam chowder was perfection, lots of classic and great flavor. Had the seafood slider combo, enough for two. The crab cake one was superb.
Had lunch here as it was in the middle of the loop we walked. I thought it was perfect because they don't open until 12pm and we stopped here on the way back. We were there around 1/130pm on a Saturday and it was already busy. Decided to sit at bar because wait time was about an hour. Although, we would have preferred to sit outside, we enjoyed the bar. Ordered a drink right away but took the food a while to be served. Drink: Berry Crush Appetizer: Crispy Buttermilk Calamari Lunch: Linguine di Mare (pictured) I enjoyed all of it and finished my plate. I would love to go back and try one of their other dishes. there is a free parking lot next to restaurant, but on busy days, may be hard to find a spot. beautiful outdoor seating pet friendly for outdoor dining nice place to refuel after walking the beautiful trails OR to enjoy as a date outing.
Moss Beach Distillery is full of history, and somewhere that members of my family have been visiting for more than 25 years, so it is a special place for us. It is located above Moss Beach and has terrific views over the Pacific Ocean. The food is definitely old school, and not perfect. My Pesto filled Salmon was dry and you could barely taste the pesto. The accompanying seasonal vegetables were a little overcooked. The mushroom risotto though was very good. My apple tart was a real highlight sweet without being able too sugary, and with a perfect pastry. But this is a great place for a special occasion and is huge fun.
