My girlfriend and I Had a great meal at kades resturant last night! Extremely impressed with the meals and outstanding service! We had not booked previously so we were unsure if we could even be seated but the waitress was friendly and told us there was no problem! A+ we will be back!
My boyfriend and I had a lovely meal there the other night, the food was fantastic staff were exceptional friendly and efficient from the moment we walked through the door, the atmosphere was great would recommend anyone to go for a feed there. cheers guys!
Went for dinner last night 3 October 2016, all I can say is AWFUL, we waited an hour for our meal, (place was not busy when came out my chicken wrapped in bacon seemed like it was microwaved first then they slapped a bit of bacon on top then hot plate (was like cutting into an old boot , hubby got the snitzel that had been deep fried to buggery! Their prices are far to over priced eg x2 lamb shanks on mash is $31.80 and if you wanted veges thats an extra $5, we also got garlic bread which was $10 all it was x4 slices of a tank loaf over smeared in Garlic butter. We also over heard another table asked for dessert they had no ice-cream (umm Family Restaurant?? and another customer commented they had no Steak! Then when we complained they stated they would discount $97 they charged us with Discount we got home added up our total including drinks which should have been $96 in total without a discount so we actually got overcharged by a $1. Would never go back nor recommend! ;
Booked a table for Sat night, Asked for a copy of menu while we had a drink told they were in short supply and presently all being used, At that stage the restaurant was only 3rd full. We had a similar situation when our dinner plates were quite quickly taken from our table as we were also advised they were in short supply and again the restaurant was only half full if that. The Pork Belly at $30 was not value for money as it consisted of a large dollop of mashed pumpkin with two strips of pork which were 80% fat, the gristle was terrible. There was a very small dish of uninspiring veges went with this. My wife ordered a desert Brolet (not sure of spelling} and the top was covered in sugar which had to be removed before eating. My Entree of Seafood chowder was also below average with a vinegar taste . Love my chowders and quite frankly this was not up there. This country restaurant has a nice atmosphere and could be a nice destination but after spending $120 plus for the two of us I feel there could be large improvements in the meals . Two of the three girls were very nice and gave good service. I don't mean this to be unkind but feel this could only go to help this business improve. :
