This was my first visit to the restaurant and as soon as I walked in, the military nostalgia was evident throughout. It was a nice tribute to our brave servicemen and women who fought for our country. The food was excellent, receiving a rating of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience.

My fiancé and I went to The Mess Hall for an early dinner last weekend. I have been living in Moscow since 2018 and cannot believe I had not visited sooner! The restaurant is tucked away off the main road. The parking lot is a bit small, but fortunately, we had a smaller vehicle that evening. Upon entering, we were greeted with a nostalgic military theme through uniforms, pictures, murals, and other cool décor. The staff was very friendly and the menu offered something for everyone. Before we left, they asked if either of us were veterans - my fiancé served in the Marine Corps, so they thanked him for his service. We started with fried pickles, which were spears (not chips for you pickle enthusiasts) and they were delicious! The breading was crispy and the dipping sauce was so good that I saved some to dip my fries in. Moving on to the main course, the burger was outstanding. It may not have been fancy, but it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I can honestly say it was the best burger I have ever had at a restaurant. We will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu!
