Les Gourmandises - MORUYA

We stopped here for a treat on our holiday and I have to say the pastries were the best we've had in Australia. The pain au chocolat and tarte au cherries were both mouth wateringly delicious with perfect, buttery, crunchy pastry just like in France. The pain au chocolate had good quality dark chocolate too. And the waiter was French speaking! A real gem of a place in Moruya and we will have to pop and and stock up before we leave!

We have visited this little bakery every day we have been here, I wish we could take it home with us. Sensational pastries, lovely coffee and the egg bacon rolls were like nothing we have ever eaten before just amazing.

We were so glad to stumble on this marvelous patisserie. My ristretto was excellent, my wife's cap equally good. The pastries are to die for light and crisp and full of flavour. The baguette was the best I have had. Well worth a trip to here or THE place for coffee and pastry on this part of the coast.

Definitely the most authentic French croissants and sweets! Good job Isabel and Joseph
