Thai Bounty - Morro Bay

I absolutely love thai food and for Mother's Day my family decided to take me here for dinner. It's a cute clean location in downtown Morro Bay. The children's side fried rice was just as big as the adult's. We also got a side of steamed broccoli for our youngest who loved every bit of it. Our older kid ordered chicken pad thai, and my hubby and I ordered the spicy noodle (one chicken and one beef. I almost forgot that we did order the chicken satay appetizer. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The waitress was kind and patient. Despite a small dining area, they were very efficient and kept a flow. We didn't wait long for our freshly made meals. Highly recommend. I will make this a regular location whenever we visit the beach.

The food tasted great, very flavorful and just a small amount of spice. Service seemed good too, very friendly and welcoming, except when it was time to pay my credit card was swiped for a different amount than my initial receipt. My initial itemized receipt was presented and was accurate (about $40), so I gave the staff my credit card to pay, but when I received the invoice back for signature, the charge had increased by $10 (total was now $50, pre-tip). This was very suspicious so I asked for the itemized receipt back, and somehow in-between the two receipts, I was charged for another order of $9.95 Eggrolls. Spoilers: I hadn't ordered any extra food. The staff and I worked out an arrangement to correct the cost, so everything worked out in the end, but be careful and check your totals!

Thai Elephant Morro Bay a locals favorite! Food is always PHENOMENAL! Great authentic flavors, with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is small, most clients use the takeout service. For those eating at the restaurant location please take note that there is not much space between tables. Wonderful eatery!

Phenomenal- visiting Morro Bay and found a great vegetarian option. The place was SUPER busy, we managed to snag a spot right in between the early diners and the next shift of people at 6:00. Lots of pick up/to go orders. Great service, very kind and answered our questions. We split a soup and a veggie curry, both were fresh, piping hot, and delicious. Exactly what we needed after a day of exploring. Will be back if I'm ever in the area again.
