Pizza Hut - Morris

This is a typical Pizza Hut. Service was good. Food was also good. Hey, I normally don’t make reviews but this experience concerned my friend and I. I think it’s important to let management and other people know about our alarming experience. We came in around 8:30 pm and there was four of us. Two are Mexican guys, and myself and my friend are white girls. We are all teenagers. When we entered, the sign said “Please Wait to be Seated.” We waited, but the one employee, a blonde guy that looked college age, told us to seat ourselves after we asked, and sounded very dismissive. One of the guys I was with took a pen to borrow from the pen jar to fiddle with while we sat, and I was watching the employee (not for any specific reason). Even though he was taking the only other customers in the restaurant’s order, he was fully glaring at my friend and watching him as he was walking. The employee said “Hey, put that pen back”very loudly and like he was demanding it, which caught us off guard because we didn’t see it as a big deal. When we waited at our table, he told us five minutes later that it would be a 15 minute wait to even take our order because he was the only guy there and had to make the other customers pizzas. I understood that, but I asked if we could at least get some drinks for the wait. He was walking away, so I think he didn’t hear me. We decided we would leave because the guys didn’t like how he was suspicious of them for no apparent reason, and we knew the wait would be long. The guys drove separately, so they left ahead of us. My friend and I were driving in my car out of the parking lot, and she told me that he left the kitchen to look at the door and see if we left. As we were driving out, he had walked out of Pizza Hut with his phone pointing directly at my car, following us through the parking lot. I was driving slow because it was dark and I wanted to see what he was doing. My friend rolled down the window and asked if he was recording us, but he quickly rushed into the back kitchen door, where we saw a second employee. I have no idea why he was recording us, but as teenage girls, we were extremely uncomfortable and my friend was angry and I was very scared. Maybe he thought the guy we were with was stealing pens? And maybe he thought my car had the guys in it as well. Either way, our privacy felt violated for no viable reason, and as a teenage girl that gets easily scared by events like this, I really wanted to cry. I hope management looks into this, because this was a very alarming experience for my friends and myself.

Never delivers even remotely on time, staff is rude and unhelpful, and the restaurant itself is filthy and uncomfortable. As much as it hurts to say, if you're in Morris, just go to pizza ranch.

I tried to order pizza but no one would answer the phone. Twice whoever picked up the phone hung up on me without saying a word. :
