Wellwood Arms - Morpeth

We visited this place 11 months ago and it was fine but I'm sorry to say since our last visit it has gone downhill, I ordered fish and chips which came very quickly I have to say , but it was a case of hunt the fish , plenty of batter but very little fish and what there was it was poor quality, we won't be returning there any time soon if ever I'm sorry to say .

Lovely food, great service and friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Food was Look warm and didn’t look the best there was no roast potatoes ready when we got called to go for are carvery guy said he would bring some over when there ready I had finished my meal when they did arrive and when my partner cut one open it was hard we complained and was given a full refund We won’t be returning

Vegetables overcooked, potatoes undercooked, meat fine. Not easy bringing food past the bar with people talking across staff very helpful but it was understaffed

Good food, good value. All enjoyed the meals. Had to sit in a bar because we were a party of 7 but that was fine
