Island Cafe - Morningside

I want to share my experience at Island Cafe with future customers. Unfortunately, my first visit here wasn't a positive one. I ordered the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese, but I was disappointed with the quality. The chicken seemed overcooked and the Mac and cheese was not up to par. The pasta was overcooked and the cheese tasted cheap. I would recommend looking at reviews before dining here. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I can vouch for the curry chicken, it was one of the best I have ever had. The strawberry lemonade was also delicious. I highly recommend trying both if you visit this restaurant.

However, I was disappointed when I received a very overcooked beef patty, especially since it was the last one available. The curry itself was delicious and the meat was tender. I wish there were more potatoes in the dish, as I have never received any in mine.
