Spelt should be reserved for savory crepes, not sweet ones with sugar or nuts. I really don’t understand how they could make them with soy milk.
I grabbed a wagon wheel crepe tonight and I didn't really enjoy it. first, it was widely served by hot, the crepe bakery was just roomtemp. I enjoy the combination of smooth cream against the crispy wafer. then I met the molten marshmallow and celestial. sugar rush! it tasted definitiw like a classic car wheel, but on another sugary level. I would have enjoyed the whole so much more if the crepe had been warm/hot. on the night markets there are definitely better crepes.
Yum crepes! had the crepes in inglewood night markets and they were amazing! I ordered the banana, salted caramel and nuts crepe (and additional nutella! for $8. it was a very large crepe that was good value for money. the tip of the crepe was crispy, and the inside of the crepe was smooth and soft. the sweet bananas and nutellas went well with the salty caramel and crispy nuts. the banane was smooth and very sweet. I can't just describe how good it was! next Monday hopefully again
Nutella hot choc was beautiful, but right there in front of the chefs sitting and let them forget that my order was a little frustrating. Last time I tried to order one they had run out of the drunken, I had to wait 20 minutes for my drink.
Finally got to try these guys at an event in Fremantle. And they are the best crepes we've ever tasted! Nice thin and crispy... The nutty professor with added salted caramel was spot on.
