Sun On - Morley

From the outside, it does not look anything special but inside the place is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good value for money

We bought take away from Sun on restaurant for so many times and the woman that served during lunch was fawn face and unfriendly. We bought over $60 some dollars of take away and was entitled to have a prawn cracker, but she gave us an extremely oily prawn cracker, that we could not eat, so we have to drive back at night after work to exchange it. I had placed an order today for over $50.00 and asked if the prawn cracker would not so over oily, she replied that the prawn cracker is free and you don't have to have it, and instead of listening what customers had to say, she even said she never had a customer like us complianing the prawn cracker, when we are being honest about it and has been a regular customer, this is bullying and insulting to our integrity. The way she spoken on phone was rude and lack of manner and it upsets me a lot, as she does not respect us customers. I called back and told her that I would cancel the order and never want to go back to the restaurant becaues she is too rude and she didnot care. Her manner and customer service to me was unconscionable and unaccpetable. She was dominant and unfriendly and we don't want this rude customer service from her. I feel very upset that I have received such demeaning manner from her. I never had a restaurant staff/owner talk back to customers, that is the worst and rudest manner and service ever, and she did not care. Even when the prawn cracker is free, it does not mean that you give the customers the poor quality one, because we have integrities unlike her unconscionable manner to us. I had never expereinced such bullying and domination from a unreasonable restaurant staff before and talk back and down to criticise customer instead of taking on the feedback. Also, I had never had come across such unreasonable and mean woman before, did not even respect or care how customers' feeling and feedback. Because of her discrimination, I don't want to go back to that restuarant again.

Had a craving for Chinese on a Tuesday night. Didn't want to leave Morley, didn't want to spend a whole lot. Tried Sun On, surprisingly for the first time. Surprising because I've been here since 2014 Sun On has been here since the 90s. It definitely feels like it's been here that long, of a different era but in a good way. It might be dated but it's clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was as you'd expect if you've eaten Chinese on a suburban Australian restaurant in the 90s. Tasty and pretty basic. Not necessarily the most authentic but no worse for it. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and the prices are also of a different era. Excellent. Another Morley gem.

This little gem of a restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the taste of the food is amazing.!!! Everything I ordered($170 worth) was delicious. Prawns tasted fresh, batter was fresh, and staff , very nice.! Gets very busy now, Very affordable . Can’t wait to visit again .

Service and food great. Always a good size especially for lunch time specials to share. Fresh food, tasty and always tasty.
