Sam's Southern Eatery - Morgan City

We were very disappointed with the food this time, as it wasn't as good as it used to be. The dishes seemed overly fried, and the green beans tasted like they came straight from a can. It's such a letdown because we used to love this place.

We’re from Alabama, and I've spent my whole life in the restaurant business as an owner. Our waitress, Taylor, was incredibly kind, sweet, and helpful. She took the time to explain the menu to us, highlighting the best sellers and various dishes. The food was simply amazing—better than Snappy's in Biloxi, Mississippi—and it only cost us $140 for three people. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The server with blonde hair was quite rude. I arrived at 8:36 a.m., and the waitress complained that they only accept takeout orders. I didn't feel welcomed at all; it was as if I was being pushed out the door as soon as I walked in. I decided to leave and don't plan on returning. As a hotel general manager, I truly value good customer service.

I was looking for a good seafood meal and that was the place. They had amazing choices they plate was very large portions price good for the amount of food that you got I was definitely filled when I left there I had oysters and shrimps and it was so good. I hunted good seafood and this is the place to go. If you're looking for some good seafood in Morgan City, it's that. I recommend them to anyone who wants a good meal at a good price, you will be stuffed when you go.

This place is amazing! The staff are nice, the food is delicious and the prices are the best in the area. I've paid much more for the same dishes at other places and Sam's Southern Eatery tastes much better! Portions are filling, prices are good and the taste is great. I was only in Morgan City for a couple of weeks, and I'm sad that I'm leaving back home tomorrow because of Sam's Southern Eatery. Try this place, you won't regret! Only regret I have is not coming here enough. To top it off, they hang a nice big American flag on the wall. Thank you!
