The Main Bothy - Moray

We had an amazing meal with a reasonable price..woulden very recommend and definitely return.

After enjoying a nice stroll around the harbor and headland, we decided to have lunch at the bothy. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily there was a free table available. I was hoping for a light lunch option like a sandwich or panini, but it wasn't on the menu. Instead, we had to choose from starters, main courses, a specials board. I opted for the beer-battered fish and chips for £14, while my companion chose the bothy burger and fries for £12.50. The food was tasty and the service was friendly, but it's worth noting that if you're looking for just a sandwich, this may not be the best place to go.

The Bothy and their vintage paella van were the ideal choice for catering at our wedding. The stunning van and the impressive paella pans were a highlight of our festival-themed reception. The food was outstanding, from the delicious paella to the breads and salads that accompanied it. It was a wonderful way to showcase local produce to our guests from different parts of the world. Ruth and her team were incredibly helpful during the planning process, answering all of our questions and accommodating our guests' needs. Thank you to The Bothy for a fantastic experience!

Hi great place good food and service pop in every time we come up to Scotland

Booked a table for 3 of us on a Thursday night. Menu choice was very good and the various starters, mains and desserts were lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and we didn't feel rushed at all. Cozy atmosphere with the fire on and fairy lights up. Will be returning with more friends for sure.
