Old Firestation - Moray

A very pleasant caffe in the tomintoul street, with an extensive menu. this perhaps seasonal opening, the caffe has good sitting outdoors, which is very helpful in the summer months when the caffe is really busy. the staff are very friendly and happy to give the tourist local advices. the food is served well and quickly.

Tasty saunas and excellent coffee with friendly service.

Had suppe as well as ice and speckrolle! it was great! many other restaurants were closed at 16:30 o'clock and the old fireplace tea room saved the day! we stopped on the way to inverness. great easy eating and good prices!

Nice stop when heading over the hills. First time I ever stopped I had a bacon roll and they served it with a cheap'n'nasty spongy bun. I never went back. This last time I was dragged in by the circumstances I was pleased to find they've switched to baguettes. I'll be back again. I hope to see the trend continue. Soup was also good. Hot enough to melt mountains, but I guess the brigade isn't far ;
