Northern Fish - Moray

The chips were dry and unappetizing, the batter on the fish was not good, and there was a funny smell in the shop that was off-putting. I definitely will not be returning.

What a charming restaurant, just as other reviews have mentioned. The fish batter was delicious and the fish itself was excellent, with a side of very tasty mushy peas. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were delighted to have discovered this hidden gem - if it were in London, it would surely be packed due to its old school charm! We will definitely be returning soon.

This authentic and straightforward chip shop has been around for a long time and always delivers. The chips are excellent and the scampi is deliciously crispy.

Visited this chip shop with husband who remembered it as a first class chippy how things change fish was nice enough and husband's white pudding adequate. However the chips were a disgrace made up mostly of small hard scraps of potatoe an those that were bigger tasted poor. When I made a complaint in a polite but firm manner the proprietor was rude and refused to believe my complaint. I told him I had no problems paying everything but the chips and rather than at least listen to my point of view even after I showed him the evidence he said the chips were fine. I did end up paying for the chips but this left me feeling certain proprietors have no idea about good customer service, needless to say we will never visit this place again. Poor reflection on how shop owner views his customers
