Gray Brothers Cafeteria - Mooresville

We celebrated my birthday on Thursday, January 27th, and everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly, quick, and professional. We found a cozy backroom that was less crowded, featuring a lovely fire in the fireplace and an empty table right in front of it. It felt so inviting! Our waitress, Savannah, was attentive and made sure we only had to glance her way for assistance. She even brought us several delicious slices of cake. The food was hot and tasty. We've been coming here for years, visiting a few times a year since we live an hour away. This was our favorite outing! Thank you for making my birthday dinner so special! We will definitely be back!

While you're waiting, I highly recommend trying the fried chicken—it’s incredibly delicious! And if you’re a fan of strawberry cake, you absolutely have to give it a shot. It might just be the best you’ve ever had, but don’t just take my word for it. Experience it for yourself!"

I haven't been here for years and traveled a bit back, but worth the trip. I had the whole white chicken dinner with green beans, potatoes, white gravy, Cole Slav and cherry cake! Chicken was very humid and delicate with a light bread and all homemade and tasty tasted! I felt bad, I'm not used to carrying money, so I had no tip for the server that made sure I was good at my table. Can't wait until I get back!!!

Food was pretty good. Dining room was clean but it was hard to get someone to fill our drinks. Not a bad experience

This restaurant is always a fantastic spot for gatherings with family and friends. The food is consistently excellent, and my father and I can't resist ordering the fried chicken every time. Their cakes are homemade, making it tough to pick just one to try. Parking is generally easy, except on holidays when you'll likely have to wait along with many other cheerful diners to get a table.
