These items are all listed on the menu as a sort of "Appetitor" range, served in small dishes at the table. A waiter serves each course from large bowls onto our plates, and he continues to bring out each dish until we've had seven small portions. Guests can request seconds from any of the small plates and can revisit the appetizer station. It's worth noting that dessert or coffee are not included in the $35 flat fee, and the restaurant remains BYOB. I must say, the waiter worked incredibly hard—he was the only staff member we noticed during our time there. As for the food, it was decent but tasted like it had been pre-prepared and reheated when necessary. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. It's disappointing to see this restaurant take such a direction.
The new menu format at Thomas' restaurant is fantastic, still managed by the same owners, chef, and staff. Diners start by serving themselves from the "Salad table," which is really an antipasto table featuring various greens and other delights. Following that, they can savor seven tasting courses at their table, with the option to repeat any dish they like, allowing everyone to experience a wide range of flavors. At just $30 per person on weeknights, it offers great value, and the BYOB policy is a nice touch. We definitely plan to return, but we feel that it would have been even more enjoyable with a group of friends to share the experience with, rather than just the two of us.
It was a beautiful and relaxing experience, and the food was excellent, as always.
I enjoyed her rodizio twice. the owner is a hard-working phenomenal cook. I brought my chef and his wife during our last visit and they both said the rogues where the best they ever had. the meatballs are delicious, the beet salad and the mushroom risotto, where the best I had. the gnocchi with broccoli rave, sun-dried tomato and was made perfection. I recommend you try this restaurant. the culinary experience differs from most restaurants of the opposite.
I liked the concept with a rotation of the menu and being able to try everything however if I hadn't reviewed the website beforehand, I wouldn't have known how it worked. The server did not explain anything to us. The food was good but I thought the portions could be a little bigger. Overall we enjoyed our meal.
