Del-rancho Restaurants - Moore

My husband and I have lived in Moore for 4 years and finally tried this place. Everything was excellent. I got a BLT and I’m fairly picky about bacon and it was unbelievably flavorful. My husband said the chicken fried steak was better than his own, which is truly an accomplishment!! Our new favorite place!!

The food was really good. Wish we had a Del Rancho closer to home. Perkins, Oklahoma would be great.

The salads were quite generous in size, filled with lots of lettuce, but they were complemented by tasty toppings like cherry tomatoes, grated cheese, and hard-boiled eggs. If you want onions, be sure to request them on the side. The salads come with a choice of dressings, and my favorite is the homemade garlic! They also serve it in a classic style along with a basket of saltines and club crackers. Our tiny mother-in-law also joined us and polished off her hamburger basket with fries—delicious! Apologies for the lack of pictures; we were too hungry to remember to take a photo until we had already dug in, and all that was left were our salad leftovers in to-go boxes!

Del Rancho has been one of my favorite spots for chicken fried steak since I was a child, and this was the first time I had one in years! I wasn't disappointed at all! The service was friendly, and the food was excellent. The chicken fried steak sandwich was fantastic as always, and the fresh onion rings were a hit. However, the frito chili pie was my daughter's favorite!

I was surprised to find the gravy placed underneath the steak. I usually prefer my dish fully covered in gravy, so I asked for more. By the way, the gravy was good—just could have used a bit more pepper. I’m a salt lover, but in this case, I think it should be left out entirely. The double serving of mashed potatoes was excellent and fresh, just as advertised. The fried okra was also outstanding. Don’t forget to try the cherry lemonade—it’s a must!
