Przekaż informację zwrotnąI ordered the chicken main dish, which was a letdown. The chicken was severely overcooked and the sauce had an odd flavor due to the unexpected addition of paprika. In my opinion, paprika has no place in Italian cuisine. My nan's rigatoni pasta was mediocre, consisting mostly of pasta and cheese. The dessert was the biggest disappointment of all. The "Nutella crepes" special turned out to be melted dark chocolate and a few chopped nuts, not Nutella as advertised. The crepes were also cold, adding to the disappointment. When we asked for tea with our dessert, the server admitted she did not know how to make it, as most customers order coffee in an Italian restaurant. This lack of basic tea-making skills was unacceptable. At least she did not charge us for the undrinkable tea. Overall, the dining experience was extremely disappointing. I would recommend going to Capella's instead, as they have consistently good Italian food. These guys are not able to compete with them, especially when they can't even cook chicken correctly.
This was surprising. I immediately felt we were in Europe. Gentle and convivial. Gianni's food was superb - he is a chef who loves his work. The menu is a basically Italian with a hint of Spanish influence,. If you cannot find what you want on the menu, just ask - Gianni will oblige with the consummate skill of a true host.
Lovely Italian restaurant in Moonta. Had the sirloin with Morton bay bugs, prawns and garlic sauce and Pollo free range. Accompanied with pear, parmesan and rocket salad. Finished off with trio of gelato and Affogato. Nice bottle of McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon to match. Thanks Gianni.

We are sorry to say that we were very disappointed with the quality of our meal, (The service by the older waitress was excellent and she tried so hard to sell us on the quality of the food and she recommended two dishes, so we ordered them on her advice....(we shared the entrée and the main course, luckily) Unfortunately when the "Garlic Prawns" came out on a hot plate my wife and I detected burnt smell that the hotplate must have been left on the flame too long, we could smell burnt vegetables and cream sauce, we both were disappointed with the quantity (5-6) and the small sized over cooked prawns in this dish ...We had also ordered the main course of "Surf-n-Turf" it came out smothered with of cream sauce over everything, this too was low on seafood, with only 4 small dried out prawns and one "Morton Bay Bug" that had very little meat in the tail, cut in half and stacked edge ways on top the small piece of porterhouse steak? the steak was ordered well done and came out rare (not quite blue) but close ...We didn't order desert thank God... The bill was $112.00 including the 1 glass of wine each....The rap up...After reading so many great reviews about "Da Gianni restaurant" in Moonta, and 1 or 2 that were disappointed with their meal...We would have to say that we join the disappointed few and we wont be returning any time soon.
