Fantastic view, we are accommodated without reservation and employees were welcoming and attentive. Eating and drinks served quickly and large portions with high quality ingredients

Beautiful place with an amazing view. the coffee was good and the chocolate muddle cake was amazing. the journey to the place was also beautiful.

While the view is spectacular, this doesn’t make up for lousy service and overpriced food. We had tried calling numerous times to book in for breakfast without answer so we decided to show up and hope for the best. While there were many tables available,...we were told we needed to make a booking by a very flustered host. We took the first available, and with an hour and half to kill, we went for a stroll. We stopped for a coffee next door and the service was impeccable (in hindsight we should have stayed there). We returned to the edge for our booking and the same hostess greeted us but once again seemed rushed and flustered, telling us multiple times we only have the table for an hour as they have to keep turning over customers. As we sat, she shooed off a very elderly gentleman at the table beside us telling him he’d been there long enough and they had to clear for lunch. I understand the importance of turnover but the way she spoke to him was appalling and made us feel really uncomfortable. As we were leaving she had a go at some children who were simply, playing around. Her attitude was really poor and I couldn’t help think that if she struggled with a “busy” Sunday service, perhaps she should be elsewhere within the restaurant. The food came within minutes of ordering, and already cold. My fish curry was just mush and rice with a few bones. My husbands burger and chips was nothing to write home about. Bland and room temp meat patty and chips. Wouldn’t go back. There are so many beautiful spots in Montville with this view without the anxious and rude waitstaff and subpar food.

The view was amazing but the food was very ordinary and so was the service. Ordered the baked brie which came out two palm sized bits of stale, cold bread. Asked for two more pieces of bread and was charged for each piece. Will...never go back. If you want good food and a great view go next door to the bakery!

Yep looks good. Great views. Food average plus! Staff friendly except for the lady at the register who was multitasking and then without any personal connection with me asked me if I would like to tip. Nah. Won’t be back.
