Przekaż informację zwrotnąAn absolutely amazing dining experience. The food was phenomenal and always a treat when the dish translates so differently to the perception you have when reading menu. Staff were knowledgable and passionate about what they were serving. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
Our taste buds are dancing. Every bite of the 3 course A la Carte menu was amazing and there were lots of added treats throughout the wonderful dining experience. Service was fantastic, each dish was explained in fine detail. Highly recommended.
A seasonal menu with some highlights, in a lovely setting, with great service and wonderful ambience. Opportunity to stroll the grounds and enjoy the Sunshine Coast hinterland at a reliably well run establishment. If dining at changeover of seasonal menu you may find some dishes work better than others so be prepared for some hit and misses. Overall, quality is excellent.
We arrived at the restaurant a bit early, and were directed to the bar, where we shared a glass of wine before dinner. The staff were extremely friendly. We were given the choice of any table, as it was a quiet evening, so we chose to sit next to the window, at the end of the dining room. We'd chosen the degustation menu, and rather than pairing the courses with wines, we ordered one of our favourites. The pre-dinner samplings we exquisite. So creative and beautifully presented. The work that goes into just putting the food on the plate, is an art in itself. The scallops, were very sweet and tender, I'm not a huge fan of steak tartare, but my Husband loves it and enjoyed most of my portion!! The Duck was probably my favourite, however, I wouldn't want to have to choose. I don't normally eat desert, but this desert was light and tasty. We finished our meal with a lovely desert wine. We didn't stay at this quaint BnB, however we will consider it for our next getaway. The service was excellent.
I took my partner for his birthday for a night getaway. (Did not stay at spicers tho..)We arrived and sat at the bar, near the fire station, for a pre-dinner drink before our degustation dinner.Drinks were served & amuses bouche started from there. No one will complain about having things to nibble on when having a delicious glass of champagne and a cocktail.Once seated at the table the delicacies kept coming.Pumpkin consommé, crab tacos and more... We had one wish, do not stop!! Then the first course arrived and all the ones to follow blew our mind, our eyes and our palate.The wait in between each course was perfectly managed. The wine pairing was also a success.For us, working in Hospitality, my partner is a Chef and I work at the front, being food and wine lovers, this was one of the best experience we had.We will definitely go back when the menu change.Thank you to everyone working there but mostly to the chefs.We were amazed.Recommended? Ahah, YES OF COURSE!
